Doodle at Ansteys
Bring out your vintage art packs, and join us at one of Jo-burg’s most inspirational buildings, Ansteys. In 1986 for Johannesburg’s Centenary year, a list was compiled of the top 100 places of outstanding cultural, historical and architectural value. Anstey’s is 3rd on thelist. The space has tremendous historical, architectural and social value, and the beautiful Art Deco Ansteys Building has been declared a national monument.
Bring pick-nick blankets and doodle doodle doodle with us,while listening to some of Joburg’s most talented acoustic artists. Once the sun has set, we will be doing a free screening of ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ based on the story of the graffiti artist and human rights activist Banksy.
